The Langtang Valley is Nepal's hidden gem — a stunning glacial valley just north of Kathmandu that sees a fraction of the visitors of the Annapurna or Everest regions. Our luxury version upgrades the experience with a private guide, the best available teahouses (premium rooms reserved in advance), a dedicated porter team, and gourmet meals prepared with fresh ingredients. The valley is home to Tamang culture, dramatic mountain scenery, and one of Nepal's largest glaciers.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m) — Private Transfer
Private vehicle transfer from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (6-7 hours). The scenic drive follows the Trisuli River through terraced hills and passes the site of the 2015 Langtang landslide memorial. Check into the best guesthouse in Syabrubesi with a private room and hot shower. Welcome dinner.
Day 2: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m)
Begin the trek ascending through subtropical forest along the Langtang Khola. The trail passes through bamboo groves, oak forest, and occasional Tamang settlements. Arrive at Lama Hotel — a collection of lodges in a forest clearing. Premium room reserved. About 5-6 hours.
Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)
Continue ascending through changing vegetation zones. The valley opens dramatically as you emerge from the forest. Langtang Village was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake — the new teahouses are among the best-built in Nepal. Premium room with mountain views. About 5-6 hours.
Day 4: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)
An easier day walking through yak pastures and across glacial streams to the Buddhist monastery at Kyanjin Gompa. The valley here is wide and surrounded by peaks above 6,000m. Afternoon visit to the monastery and the local cheese factory (a unique Himalayan experience). Premium lodge with the best views.
Day 5: Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) Day Hike — Explore Valley
Optional early morning climb to Kyanjin Ri for a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and the Langtang Glacier. Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,380m)
Long descent day retracing the route through the valley and forest. The return journey offers different light and perspectives on the dramatic scenery. Arrive at Lama Hotel for a final night on the trail. Farewell dinner prepared by your team. About 6-7 hours.
Day 7: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi — Private Transfer to Kathmandu
